After what seems like a very long time I am very proud to launch Enormous Reloaded, a blog with a particularly apt title given the back story that you may like to peruse at your leisure.

Getting a band back together after such a long time, over ten years in this case, is never particularly easy, even if the end results genuinely justify the means. I know only too well myself how emotionally demanding it can be to return to an arena after an unscheduled break or unexpected set back. Thankfully, I also know how cathartic and rewarding blogging about a return, or in this case a reload, can be.

And that is how we got here. A decision was made to draw a line in the hypothetical sand, release the complete Enormous catalogue under the title The Early Years and move forward with new material and new challenges, blogging every step of the way.

With more than enough other blogs already being driven from my Powerbook I’ll leave the bulk of the blogging here at Enormous Reloaded, appropriately so, to Enormous singer and songwriter Davy Lawrence. I will, however, make an appearance from time to time, if only because my passion for this project will prevent me from staying away.

There are exciting times ahead for Enormous, both musically and promotionally. Stay tuned, I think you’ll enjoy the ride.
